About

Josh Friz grew up in New England. He graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. His film career started with an internship in 2005 on an independent feature film in New Hampshire. One year later he joined the Local 600 camera union and was working on major feature films in-and-around the Boston, MA area. In 2010, he moved to Los Angeles to further his career in the Film Business.

Josh brings fourteen years of experience from the highest-level crews in the industry. He was a competitive National Age Group swimmer and a 1st team all-state Soccer and Lacrosse player. The Steadicam is a natural match for his athletic abilities and artistic sensibility developed through years of experience on the job.
